I need something to go right.

Quiet Country Setting yet only 1.5 miles to the Fresh Market, less than 2 miles. to downtown and close to Laural Park! Charming 1 bedroom with hardwood floors, living room/dining room combo with hardwood floors, kitchen with refrigerator, stove and washer/dryer hook-ups. Welcoming front porch and LARGE yard. Quiet dead end road, 1 year min. lease, call ***-***-**** to see. $465 per month – water included.

It would be really, really nice if the world would cooperate right now and we could get this place.

I just want a place to live. It’s so effing hard. Rent looks a lot bigger when you’re looking at calculating paychecks down to the dollar. Most places want a deposit of equal value with your first month’s rent. And when you’re looking at money and time and what you need, it really sucks to think “Well, we won’t have that for X weeks, so where the hell do we go til then?”

I’ve been trying to determine the bare minumum, what we’d need to survive (eat, get places, sleep under a roof. It’s looking like around $900 a month if I cut the internet off my phone, we find a place under $500 a month to rent, and we don’t buy anything. He’s not making anything close to that and I’m not going to be bringing in money for at least two weeks after I get back (gotta find a job).

I just wish I could stop worrying. I wish the world didn’t work this way, and instead of sitting here unable to even get a start on life because we’re going to be working so hard to survive, we could just work on living.
